Mike was raised in Southwest Arkansas playing with garage
bands of the late 60's, including Outer Limits, The Brass
Tacks and the Zonks, to name a few. After a hiatus to
attend college and medical school he returned to the music
scene as the bass guitar player for Wolf Grulkey and Gary
Albritton of Gaskin's Switch. He has played bass for Chris
for five years and resides in Rudy, Ar. In his spare time, he
enjoys skydiving and the country life.
MIKE WESTBROOK
Bass Guitar
Jordan was born and raised in the Fort Smith, AR area.  He
began playing drums when he was 13 at Grand Avenue Baptist
Church where he became their full-time drummer in 2009. In
2006, he helped form the band Nightlights for Superheroes. He
started out playing the drums for the band but eventually
became their guitarist and lead singer as well as becoming
their main songwriter. In 2007, Nightlights won the Fayetteville
Battle of the Bands contest. Jordan has shared the stage with
such national acts as Deas Vail, Ben Rector, Dr. Manhattan,
We Shot the Moon and others. In 2010, at the age of 22,
Jordan began playing drums for Chris.  Jordan lends his talents
as a vocalist and guitarist as well.
JORDAN LUCAS

Deron is a Fort Smith native with many musical ties to the area.  He is a devoted Husband
and Father and enjoys everyday with his family.

His musical journey began at an early age in the Fort Smith school system where he
played trumpet in the Chaffin and Southside band receiving many awards as his skills
developed.  Playing in the church band at Harvest Time helped develop skills that a
school setting could not reproduce.  

After High School he enjoyed being mentored by local jazz legend, Don Bailey at Westark
Community College (now known as the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith).  
Deron & Don have shared the stage on several occasions in the past few years
commanding over 2300 people in attendance during single performances.
DERON FREEMAN
Trumpet
Deron played in several bands that encompassed many musical genres.  All of these experiences has helped shape the
style that he currently plays.  Some of Deron's favorite trumpet players are Miles Davis, Arturo Sandoval, Maynard
Ferguson, Phil Driscoll & Doc Severinsen. You can hear a touch of these players when listening to Deron play. His style
can be explosive yet melodic.

In addition to playing in the Chris Cameron Band, Deron plays in the jazz band, "After 5 Jazz" and is the Worship Director
at Harvest Time church in Fort Smith AR.
DJ is currently a student at the
University of Arkansas in Fort
Smith, where he is earning his
B.A. in Jazz Studies and
Woodwind Performance. DJ has a
wide variety of musical styles,
ranging from funk to smooth jazz,
and from classical to pop/rock. He
has studied under the likes of,
Lenny Pickett from SNL and
Tower of Power, Jeff Coffin of
Dave Matthews Band and Bela
Fleck and the Flecktons.

Recently, DJ had the opportunity to preform along side  
Lenny Pickett, Wayne Burgeron, and most recently with the
Los Angeles acapella sensation M-Pact.
SCOTT GANN
Sax
Scott is currently a student at the
University of Arkansas Fort Smith
pursuing a Music Education
degree. Scott started playing
saxophone in the seventh grade
and graduated from Ozark High
School in 2007. Upon starting at
UAFS, he has played with
numerous national and regional
performers including Gary
Hutchison, Wayne Bergeron, and
Lenny Picket in sold out concerts
with the jazz band.
Scott is also the lead singer and bassist in the band Boxfoot
a local rhythm and blues band in Fort Smith.
Charles L. Booker, Jr. (b. 1952) is Associate Professor of Theory and Composition at
the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith where he has served as the Director of Bands,
Director of Jazz Studies, and Chair of the Music Department. He currently teaches
conducting, music theory, orchestration and composition.

Mr. Booker, a composer, and a former U.S. Army Bandmaster, received his degrees
from the University of the State of New York and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
He later completed courses for Texas teacher certification in secondary music at Texas
State University. His compositions are published by Alfred, Kendor, Southern Music
Company, Wingert-Jones, and Booker Music. His music has been performed
internationally by schools, universities and professional bands that include The Army
Band ("Pershing’s Own"), the U.S. Army Field Band, the U.S. Military Academy Band
(West Point), the U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America and the U.S. Air Force Academy
Band. During his 21-year military career, he conducted bands in Texas, Louisiana,
Germany, New York and Washington, D.C. with performances for the returning
American hostages from Iran, two Presidential funerals and inauguration parades, the centennial of the Statue of Liberty,
and at the Kennedy Center. Also, he led the U.S. Army Field Band’s "Jazz Ambassadors" in concerts in 48 states, India,
Japan, Europe, Mexico and Canada. Mr. Booker studied composition with Hank Levy (composer/arranger for Stan Kenton),
Dr. Steve Strunk and Dr. James Balentine and conducting with Dr. Robert Garofalo and Dr. Robert Rustowicz. Charles
Booker is a past president of the Arkansas Chapter of College Band Directors National Association, past president of the
Arkansas Chapter of the International Association of Jazz Educators, a member of the National Band Association, Texas
Bandmaster Association and is a past president of the Arkansas Bandmaster Association.

Mr. Booker is also a member of the Arkansas Chapter of Phi Beta Mu, band fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi, and honorary
music fraternity Pi Kappa Lambda. In addition, Charles Booker was the founder and former conductor of the River Valley
Community Band of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Charles Booker has been recognized by the Mayor of Fort Smith (the 2006
"Mayor’s Honors to the Visual and performing Arts"), the North Side Independent School District of San Antonio, Texas (the
2008 "Pillars of Character Award") and has received the Arkansas Arts Council Award in music composition for 2009. When
Mr. Booker is not composing or teaching, he performs on trumpet with the Chris Cameron Blues Band throughout Arkansas,
Oklahoma, and Texas. In 2007, the New Mexico State University Symphonic Winds released a CD entitled "Centra-fuge:The
Music of Charles L. Booker, Jr., Volume I", and in 2008, Mr. Booker released his second CD "American Jubilee:The Music of
Charles L. Booker, Jr., Volume II". Booker’s CD "Time Remembered: The Music of Charles L. Booker, Jr. Volume III was
released July 30, 2009. His latest CD, "Radiant Blues: The Music of Charles L. Booker, Jr., Volume IV was released in July
2011.
CHUCK BOOKER

Lucelena is a product of the Van Buren Schools' Music Department where she performed with
the Van Buren High School marching band, symphonic band, and jazz band throughout her
high school career. She is currently a music major at the University of Arkansas- Fort Smith,
where she plays with the symphonic band, saxophone quartet, pep band, and jazz band. She is
also a specialist in the 106th Army Band stationed in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is working
toward a career in music education, where she can spread her love for this art with others.

Henry is a twenty-something musician, human trafficking abolitionist, soccer enthusiast, and a budding
graphic designer born in the suburbs of New York City.

He began taking piano lessons at the age of eleven after saving up $25 dollars to buy his first
keyboard from the local flea market. Three months after taking piano classically, Henry began playing
piano at his local church. It was at this small congregation where he began to learn art of improvisation
and Spanish solfège. In junior high and high school, Henry played trumpet and piano in his local band
program and was an All-Region Jazz Pianist three times consecutively.

In 2004, Henry joined former-band Jackson Waters and in November of 2005 they signed a record
contract with Word Records, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Their music was featured on the CW’s show
“One Tree Hill.” After recording half of the album, Henry left Jackson Waters in pursuit of finishing his
education at John Brown University.
Henry now has a Bachelor of Science degree from John Brown University in Youth & Worship; and a minor in Music. He
currently leads worship at Primera Iglesia Bautista Harvard Avenue and is a part-time student at the University of Arkansas
at Fort Smith in pursuit of gaining some knowledge and experience in Graphic Design.
